This independent photography project was spontaneously created while visiting the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier at Manhattan’s hudson river. The fascination which let to the images was the broad use of type in the navy’s aircraft fleet. Also astonishing was how huge color variety of the applications were. All through the type faces make the impression of looking the same, every character had its own touch, while they were all painted by hand.
